9:00 a.m. Oak Grove High School "Pirate Island" 2nd-4th grade Alex and Jamie are playing "pirates" in the attic when they get in trouble. The two are forced to go to bed and when they awake they are on an island surrounded by pirates!  They have to go on a quest to help the pirates and return home. This original script is loads of fun for all
ages!
9:45 a.m. St. Martin High School "The Nutcracker" 5-12 Based on the ballet - Clara's Nutcracker comes alive and they embark on an adventure to restore his crown and become a Prince again.
10:30 a.m. Clinton High School "Crow Boy" 4-adult Chibi lives in the countryside of Japan.  He is teased because he is so different.  The story centers around the mentoring of his teacher, Mr. Isobe, to encourage the use of Chibi's gifts and talents.  He blossoms as a result.
11:15 a.m. Perk Players "The Amazing Imagination Machine" k-6th Tired of their children watching television and playing video games all day, a group of parents send their children outside with directions to build the amazing imagination machine.  The children journey through time and space to find the parts to the machine and in doing so also find the power of their imagination.
11:45 - 12:15 LUNCH      
12:30 p.m. WINGS "Servant of Two Masters" Grades 5-12 The Servant of Two Masters is  Commedia Del Arte piece incorporating physical comedy, live music and slap stick humor.   All ages will enjoy this colorful tale of
lost and found love with its hilarious overtones.  The main character Truffaldino tries to serve two master and finds
himself in all kinds of predicaments which eventually lead to happy endings.
1:15 p.m. Gulfport Little Theatre "Running Upstream" 12 grade thru Teens David is entering mainstream high school despite his physical handicaps.  Problem is not too many people take the time to look for his eyes past his arms and his legs.
Friends and family are forced to realize that they need to look past the handicap to the young man within. A poignant, powerful award winning play.
2:00 p.m. Biloxi High School "Little Red and The Hoods" 5-10 A tale of Little Red Riding Hood with modern lessons.  Little Red is taking cookies to her grandma when she encounters Harry Wolf who works for a gang leader.  The gang leader wants to steal the recipe for the cookies and
become rich.  It teaches audiences about not judging people by their looks, how to protect themselves from strangers and
the importance of reading.
3:30 p.m. Awards Ceremony for Theatre for Youth will be held at 4:00 p.m.
