- SETC State Auditions, December 4 & 5, 2010, Hinds Community College. Raymond, MS. For more information contact Alison at the address below. Please encourage your students to participate in these auditions!
- Mississippi Theatre Association’s Annual High School Auditions, January 13, 2010. Meridian. MSU Riley Center.
- Individual Events for Adults! Your time to step into the spotlight! Faculty and college students can participate in the Individual Events for adult. Perform a 60 second monologue or a monologue/song selection (90 seconds) or find a partner and perform a duet. Top awards will be given at the festival. Great way to practice auditioning!
- If you are a playwright be sure to look at the MTA Playwriting Competition. You could win $500 and a staged reading at the 2011 MTA Festival.
- MTA is looking for more adjudicators for our regional and state festival. If you are interested in being contacted in the future to serve as an adjudicator at one of our festivals please complete the online form.
If your department has new faculty added since the fall of 2007, please send a list with all new faculty including mailing and email addresses to Stephen Cunetto at scunetto@bellsouth.net. They will be added to the MTA listserv and the MTA database.If you are interested in serving as an adjudicator for one of the 3 high school regional festivals, please send an email to Stephen Cunetto at scunetto@bellsouth.net.
