Important Dates and Information For College / University Division
- College/University Auditions — Institutional Registration. Institutions register to audition college/university students.
- MTA has two new initiatives this year for Undergraduates — the Design Competition and the Audition Workshop. Both of these will be helpful to Undergraduates preparing to present at other regional auditions.
- College/University Student Design Competition: First Place Prize $50, to be awarded in each category: Scenery, Costume and Lighting
- College/University Undergraduate Audition Workshops: The MTA College and University Undergraduate Audition Workshop are specifically designed for students who are interested honing their auditions skills in preparation for Regional Auditions for Graduate Programs and Professional positions.
- Buy an ad in the MTA Festival program to promote your program. The ads will be seen by several hundred high school students that have an interest in theatre.
- MTA is looking for more adjudicators for our regional and state festival. If you are interested in being contacted in the future to serve as an adjudicator at one of our festivals please complete the online form.
If your department has new faculty added, please send a list with all new faculty including mailing and email addresses to Stephen Cunetto at scunetto@gmail.com. They will be added to the MTA listserv and the MTA database.If you are interested in serving as an adjudicator for one of the 3 high school regional festivals, please send an email to Stephen Cunetto at scunetto@gmail.com.
