BERLIN, 1930….the end of Europe’s dreamy decadence on the eve of the Nazi nightmare. The unflappable flapper, Sally Bowls, keeps dancing her head above water through love, longing, loss, and lederhosen.
Featuring Kimberlee Wilson as Sally Bowls, Danny Dauphin as The Emcee, David Lind as Cliff, Denise Halbach as Frauline Schneider, James Anderson as Herr Schultz, Jessica Wilson as Frauline Kost, and Dylan Lovett as Ernst. Also featuring a beautiful cast of Kit Kat Girls and Boys including Brad Bishop, Bridget Archer, Bryce Slocumb, Clif Hogan, Erick Weeks, Erin Carney, Kyle Henderson, Mandy Nabors, Marisol Rosas, Roxie Randle, and Tracie James Waide, and equally beautiful orchestra including Harlan Zackery (Conductor), Lorraine Middleton, Bo Childs, John Palmerton, and Spencer Thomas.

MAAE Artists’ Training WorkshopFriday, May 23rd, 2008MAAE Artists’ Training Workshop The Mississippi Alliance for Arts Education is offering the fifth in a series of hands-on workshops designed to develop the skills of artists and arts educators in presenting educational workshops for teachers and students. Performing and visual artists are invited to apply for this artists’ training workshop, titled “Artist as Teacher,” to be held July 21-22, 2008, at the University of Mississippi in Oxford. This workshop is being offered in partnership with the Mississippi Arts Commission’s Whole Schools Initiative. Hattiesburg to host the 2008 Statewide Theatre FestivalMonday, August 20th, 2007Hattiesburg to host the 2008 Statewide Theatre Festival — The Mississippi Theatre Association (MTA) announces Hattiesburg, MS as the location of the 2008 MTA Statewide Festival. Serving as hosts and organizers, Just Over the Rainbow Theatre and the University of Southern Mississippi will work over the next several months planning the four day event. The festival, scheduled for January 10-13, 2008, consists of six festivals that showcase the best theatre in Mississippi, provide continuing education opportunities for theatres of all types and identify the Best Production at the High School and Community Theatre level to represent Mississippi at the Southeastern Theatre Conference. |
